Emily Prins has had the desire to serve women in New York City since she was a child. God has sovereignly guided her through the years providing the lessons, experience, and education that enables her to carry out the work of Expect Hope. Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Eastern University in 2009 and her Masters of Arts in Urban Studies with a concentration in Community Development from Eastern University in 2015. Working her early adult years as a nanny, tutor, and college resident assistant, her desire and ability to teach and care for both children and young adults has continued to flourish. She has also volunteered as a peer counselor for The Pregnancy Clinic in Severna Park, Maryland and a tutor and life skills coach for Good Counsel Homes in the Bronx, New York. Emily is supported by her husband of three years and is blessed to be the mother of two sons.
